Another item received today. This is the special reversible jersey produced to commemorate the centenary year of football under the name of "Manchester United". This jersey is the last of the Umbro away and third kit, together with the home kit.
The white side is used for away matches, while the gold colour side is used as the third kit. Of course, the player dont wear this, as the double layered shirt will be too heavy. Instead, players use single sided ones, while this reversible ones are sold as memorabilia. Besides that, this shirt have other details that makes it even unique.
A round logo on top of the club crest shows the period of 100 years from the usage of the name "Manchester United".
There's also a patch at the bottom of the jersey which shows that this jersey is an authentic licensed product.
The lifespan is shown at the bottom back of the white side, which is from July 2001 until April 2002.
On the gold side of the jersey, there's also the round logo on top of the club crest, and the shirt size now appears on the outside part of the jersey.
I like how the gold colour shines when a camera flash is used.
I cant find any pictures of a player in action using either of these kits, but i've found a picture of them posing in it:
Now, i have to decide which side of this jersey is to be shown when hung using a hanger...
